Our boxes are designed for adult mystery lovers. Some gifts may include items like candles or delicate pieces unsuitable for children. Additionally, the cozy mysteries may contain mature themes.

We ship all boxes via Royal Mail Tracked on or about the 15th working day of each month.
The cut-off date to receive the next box is the 8th. For example, if you join by January 8th, you will receive the January box, despatched on or about January 15th.
You’ll receive the February box if you join between January 9th and February 8th.
Delivery usually takes 2-5 days from despatch in the UK and 7-12 days internationally.
There may be occasions when your box is delayed due to reasons beyond our control, e.g., bad weather, customs delays.
For issues that are notified to us, for example a supply chain delay, we do our best to keep you informed by email.
You will be charged when you first join at checkout.
Future payments will be taken on the 1st of each month at 00:00 UK time.
For example, if you join on January 3rd, you'll be billed immediately, and then again at 00:00 UK time on February 1st for the next box.
Our prices are listed in GBP (£). After you complete your purchase, Stripe will convert the amount to your local currency using the current exchange rate.
The final converted amount will be shown on your card statement.
You can use a tool like Currency Converter - Live Exchange Rates Today for an estimated cost in your local currency.

We offer shipping to the UK, USA, and Canada. Our rates are:
- Domestic UK - FREE
- USA (Mainland) - £12
- Canada - £14
As a small UK business, our international shipping costs are high, especially since books are heavy. We've done our best to keep these costs as competitive as possible. The more members we have, the easier it will be to secure cheaper rates, so thank you for your support!

We keep the contents of each box a mystery to enhance the experience! Gifts are designed to be opened at specific points in the book, enriching your journey into the story. You can expect them to be cozy, interactive, and relevant to the mystery.
We occasionally include pre-packaged gourmet snacks as part of our Mystery Gifts. If you have allergies/intolerances or dietary requirements, you’ll have the option to opt out of snacks at checkout. We'll replace the food item with an alternative.
If you’re in the UK and receive a book you already own, just let us know! We’ll arrange a swap and send you a different cozy mystery to enjoy.
For our international subscribers, if you already have the book in your box, we can offer a digital alternative, store credit, or an extra Mystery Gift in your next box. Just get in touch, and we’ll make it right!

Before you cancel, you can easily skip or pause your membership anytime by logging into your account.
You can cancel anytime by logging into your account. You’ll stop receiving boxes for monthly plans after your last paid box is sent.
You can cancel any time for 3 or 6-month plans, but you will still receive the boxes you’ve already paid for. We cannot offer partial refunds on these plans as they come with a discounted rate for the full-term commitment.
Absolutely! Options for gifting a CozyRead Books membership are available at the checkout.

We cannot offer refunds if your box has already been despatched or if you didn't cancel your membership in time. If you wish to cancel, please do so before 00:00 UK time on your next billing date.
