All boxes ship via Royal Mail Tracked on or about the 15th working day of each month.
The cut-off date to order the next box is the 8th.
For example, if you join by January 8th, you will receive the January box, despatched on or about January 15th.
You’ll receive the February box if you join between January 9th and February 8th.

We ship to the UK, USA, and Canada. Our rates are:
Domestic UK - FREE
USA (Mainland) - £12
Canada - £14
As a small UK business, our international shipping costs are high, especially since books are heavy. We do our best to keep these costs as competitive as possible. The more members we have, the easier it will be to secure cheaper rates, so thank you for your support!

Once your box ships on the 15th, delivery usually takes 2-5 business days from despatch in the UK and 10-15 business days internationally. (Hold tight your cosy escape is en route!)
There may be occasions when your box is delayed due to reasons beyond our control, e.g., bad weather, customs delays.
For issues that are notified to us, for example a supply chain delay, we do our best to keep you informed by email.
Yes, your payment will auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it.
We cannot offer refunds if your box has already been despatched or if you didn't cancel your membership in time. If you wish to cancel, please do so before 00:00 UK time on your next billing date.
However, we understand that sometimes life happens! If you have any questions or concerns, contact us at lou@cozyreadbooks.com, and we'll do our best to help.
You will be charged for your first month immediately at the checkout.
Subsequent billing occurs on the 1st of each month at 00:00 UK time.
For example, if you join on January 3rd, you'll be billed immediately, and then again at 00:00 UK time on February 1st for the next box.
Before you cancel, you can easily skip or pause your membership anytime by logging into your account HERE. select manage subscription, then select the options for pausing or skipping.
If you still need to cancel—we'll be sad to see you go—you can do so anytime by logging into your account. You’ll stop receiving boxes for monthly plans after your last paid box is sent.
For 3, 6 or 12-month plans, you can cancel via your account, but you will still receive the boxes you committed to. We cannot offer partial refunds on these plans as they come with a discounted rate for the full-term commitment.
Simply log in to your CozyRead Books account HERE and select manage subscription. You will then have the option to update your shipping and/or payment details or add a new card.
Please note, if your address is not updated by the time your billing date has passed for the month, we will ship your box to the current address on file.
We understand you might need a break and you have the option to pause your account. If you would like to do this please login to your account HERE or email us at lou@cozyreadboooks.com and we will be happy to help.
Sorry your box has vanished! Sometimes parcels get lost in transit, but we have a solution. Please contact us within 15 days of shipping at lou@cozyreadbooks.com and we'll try to solve this mystery.
Sorry your items didn’t arrive as expected! Sometimes products get damaged during shipping but we have a solution! Just email us pictures of the damaged product to lou@cozyreadbooks.com and we will be happy to help.
Our boxes are designed for adult mystery lovers. Some gifts may include items like candles or delicate pieces unsuitable for children. Additionally, the cozy mysteries may contain mature themes.

Our prices are listed in GBP (£). After you complete your purchase, Stripe will convert the amount to your local currency using the current exchange rate.

We keep the contents of each box a mystery to enhance the experience! Gifts are designed to be opened at specific points in the book, enriching your journey into the story. You can expect them to be cosy, interactive, and relevant to the mystery.
We occasionally include pre-packaged gourmet snacks as part of our Mystery Gifts. If you have allergies/intolerances or dietary requirements, you’ll have the option to opt out of snacks at checkout. We'll replace the food item with an alternative.
If you’re in the UK and receive a book you already own, just let us know! We’ll arrange a swap and send you a different cosy mystery to enjoy.
